Sam Grise

I help teams bridge the space between ambition and execution.

As a systems transformation strategist, I help organizations navigate complexity and move from intention to adoption

My work sits at the intersection of design, operations, and change leadership. Across healthcare, technology, and ecommerce, I’ve partnered with clinical leaders, executives, IT teams, and operational stakeholders to align people, processes, and platforms around shared outcomes.

Most recently, I worked within a large health system at the senior leadership level, facilitating enterprise-wide initiatives focused on service redesign, operational improvement, digital transformation, and cross-system partnership. I’m known for translating across disciplines, building trust in high-stakes environments, and ensuring that solutions are not only designed — but adopted.

I hold a Master’s in Digital Media Design from Harvard and am Prosci-certified. My approach blends systems thinking, facilitation, and human-centered design to drive measurable, sustainable impact.

Outside of work, I recharge through movement and nature — paddle boarding with my dog, skiing, salsa dancing, tending to my growing collection of plants, or getting lost in a good book.

If you’re exploring transformation, innovation, or organizational change, I’d love to connect.

He’s the happiest neediest goofiest fuzzy butt, who joins me on runs and for swims.

My Girls Emmy & Bubbles

I somehow seem to find puppy cats… i.e. happy go lucky cats that play fetch.

What I’ve been reading

Katabasis blends the imaginative charm of Harry Potter with the shadowy depth of Dante’s Inferno, unfolding as a magical yet introspective journey through the underworld. It’s equal parts adventure and meditation on what it means to confront the unknown.

R. F. Kuang writes delightful fantasy that makes you think.

What I’m listening to

Debbie Dawson and Jon Batiste have been shaping my listening lately, each bringing a soulful, expressive energy that feels both grounded and joyful. Their music sits somewhere between classic soul and contemporary pop, full of warmth, rhythm, and personality.

My Spotify Wrapped recently told me I gravitate most toward “soul pop,” and it makes sense — their songs have become a go-to soundtrack for days when I want something uplifting but still rich and textured.

“It was enjoyable working with you. … [Y]ou naturally took the project manager role. You made sure there's clear communication and that we're moving in the right direction. You have the eye for UI.“

Employee of the Month - August 2021

“… I have seen the non exhaustive patience Sam constantly exhibits with myself and all her coworkers through stressful projects, accidental mistakes, and any delays. … Her work is always flawless and her organizational method of keeping track of all assets, projects and people is intimidatingly impressive. …

[W]hen tensions have been high and deadlines plentiful, Sam’s calm and consistent professionalism paired with a friendly smile makes her more than deserving of [Employee] of the Month”
